Ronnie McNeill, founder of Ronell Eyewear, was previously responsible for the design and development of new eyewear collections at Ray Ban. He moved on to co-ordinate the technical development of premium sunglasses for market leaders such as Versace, Cartier, Mont Blanc, Dunhill and Alain Mikli, turning their design concepts into successful reality.

The first Ronell collection was designed and launched in 2002. Technically advanced for optimal lens geometry, ergonomically designed for comfort and fit, Ronell Eyewear delivers the perfect balance between form and function. Each model has timeless
design values, merging contemporary and classic
detailing into an elegant and distinctive collection.

In 2005 Ronell introduced the Ronell Ophthalmic Collection initially with Italian Acetate frames, which has been further enhanced with the addition of some Nickel Free product.
